Most companies write their “about us” page like a line from Companies House. We’d rather just say it plainly: who we are, why we build what we build, and what sets us apart from the firms that appeared six months ago, the moment “container gyms” became fashionable.
Where it started — a steel workshop, 2017
Our founder, Jakub Sroczyński, combined two things that don’t always go together: a background in structural steel fabrication (a family business in Poland) and a serious passion for strength training. After years of driving 25 minutes to the nearest gym, he asked himself a simple question: why does a home gym have to look like a garage with a mat and a single dumbbell?
The first gym he built for himself in 2017 was, quite literally, the prototype of today’s Gym Box — an insulated steel module with a proper sports floor, a window onto the garden and real heating. Friends started asking for “one of those for me”. That’s how the company began.

Our mission — commercial quality, made accessible
The build quality of a commercial gym (an S-class rack, a 30 mm rubber floor, air conditioning, 500-lux lighting) on your own plot, for sensible money. That sentence is painted on the wall of our production hall, and it’s our mission word for word.
We don’t sell “shipping containers with a few dumbbells thrown in”. We build purpose-made fitness modules from scratch — with design drawings, scheduled inspections, a warranty and ongoing service.
The journey — from one client to exporting across Europe
| Year | Milestone |
|---|---|
| 2017 | First home gym (the prototype) |
| 2019 | First 10 external clients |
| 2021 | Product standardised — 8×3, 9×3, 6×5 sizes, our own production hall |
| 2023 | 100th project delivered; first commercial build (a hotel) |
| 2024 | First exports — Germany and the United Kingdom |
| 2025 | 200+ projects; regular exports to the UK, Ireland and Germany |
| 2026 | Commercial line to ISO 20957 Class S; structured delivery across Europe |
Today the team is eight people (a structural engineer, two welders, an electrician, two finishers, a designer and a coordinator) plus a settled network of subcontractors for transport, groundworks and HVAC. For UK orders we build in our hall, then deliver and install on site — cross-border delivery is standard, not a one-off.

Five values we hold ourselves to every day
1. Transparent pricing — always “from £X”
We never say “price on request”. Every package has a price you can see on the site: Gym Box 8×3 Standard from £23,400, the compact 6×3 and the 9×3. A fully bespoke module starts from around £40,000. You know roughly what it costs before you ever pick up the phone. (Want a tailored figure? Our quote builder walks through it in six steps.)
2. Architectural drawings included in the package
You don’t pay a separate £1,000 for drawings. Every module comes with a 1:50 floor plan, a services schematic and a foundation layout ➜ the documentation you’ll need to put in front of your local planning authority.
3. A 10-year warranty on the structure
The steel structure: 10 years (galvanised plus powder-coated). Sports equipment: 2 years. HVAC: 5 years from the manufacturer. These aren’t terms written “in our favour” — they’re the standard clauses in every contract.
4. Service after the warranty ends
When the warranty runs out, we don’t disappear. An annual service visit (from around £70–100) plus parts on request. We still have clients from 2018 who use our service to this day.
5. We manufacture it ourselves
Every module is built in our own hall. Steel, insulation, panels — all sourced in the EU. No imports from the Far East, no “rebranding” of off-the-shelf shipping containers. That’s what gives us quality control and a 6–10 week lead time from signed contract to delivery.
What our clients say
“I was expecting a typical container. What I got looks like an architectural pod out of an interior magazine. And I’ve trained in it every day for two years — zero faults.” — Tomasz K., Zegrze project, 2023

How we differ from the “class of 2024”
Over the last 18 months a wave of firms has started selling “container gyms”. Most of them are:
- middlemen with no production of their own (they buy a shipping container and bolt on equipment)
- no warranty beyond 12 months
- no architectural drawings
- no Class-S certified equipment
- no references older than a year
Us ➜ on the market since 2017, 200+ projects, our own production, a 10-year structural warranty, documentation included. That’s not marketing — those are facts you can check.
