In BCD Travel’s Hotel booking trends survey of 1,035 business travellers (May 2025), 51% name a gym, pool or spa among the hotel amenities that add to their wellbeing and 41% say they normally use the hotel gym. An inadequate gym – or no gym at all – works against you with that half of the market: lost bookings and weaker facility scores on Booking.com.

Why a Gym Box instead of a converted room
The usual first idea is to turn a bedroom, a conference room or a basement into a gym. It costs you twice: the building works, and the revenue that room would otherwise earn. And the result is often three treadmills in a windowless room.
A Gym Box is a complete gym in an insulated steel module that stands outside the hotel:

Commercial equipment – not to be confused with home gear
In a hotel, equipment runs for 8–16 hours daily, 365 days a year. Consumer-grade machines are not built for this. They fail, wear out and generate guest complaints within 12–18 months.
We supply and install brands certified for commercial use: Technogym, Life Fitness, Matrix, Panatta. Equipment is covered by the manufacturer’s warranty.
We do not cut costs by specifying domestic equipment in commercial settings.
The ROI case for a hotel gym
A fitness facility does not need to generate direct revenue to pay for itself. It does so indirectly:

Installation without disrupting hotel operations
The module arrives finished – insulated, wired, fitted out and equipped. On site we place it on the prepared foundation (ready 2 weeks before delivery) and connect the power supply: 1–2 days, no dust or noise inside the hotel, no rooms taken out of service.
We coordinate directly with your facilities manager and work within your operational constraints. No surprises, no disruption to guests.
Warranty and after-sales service
2-year warranty on the Gym Box (structure, installations, finish); equipment is covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. Your statutory rights are not affected.
After the warranty you can continue with service care on individually agreed terms – for example regular inspections of the equipment and installations, planned around your hotel’s operations.
