What is GymBox Train & Recover?

This is not a typical garden gym. Train & Recover is a module designed around one principle: training and recovery under one roof, without stepping outside.

A single container holds three zones – a strength room, a Finnish sauna and a shower. You walk in, train, sit in the sauna, shower and walk back to the house. No commute to the leisure centre, no monthly fees, no queueing for the sauna after work.

Phased approach – start with the gym

You do not have to build everything at once. A phased path:

Stage 1: GymBox 6×4 m or 8×3 m with sauna-ready preparation – plumbing stubs in place, reserved 3-phase capacity, free space allocated for the future sauna. Cost: £23,000–£27,000 +VAT.

Stage 2: Adding a separate sauna module or partitioning the Recover zone inside the existing module – without touching the training area.

➜ A phased approach lowers the entry barrier and spreads the investment over time.

Why clients choose Train & Recover

DOES THIS SOUND FAMILIAR?

➜ You train regularly, but the gym sauna is always queued – or there isn’t one ➜ You pay for a gym membership (£40–£90/month) and a separate sauna or spa pass (£25–£50/month) ➜ You know recovery is half of the training effect, but you have nowhere to recover at home ➜ You are building a house and want the garden to do more than hold a lawn and a shrub

A single Train & Recover module pays for itself in roughly 8–12 years of saved subscriptions – and it is yours, permanently.

Frequently asked questions

Does a sauna heater need 3-phase power? Yes – a standard 6 kW unit requires a 3-phase supply (5-wire TN-S cable). For a smaller sauna (up to 4 kW) single-phase is possible, but capacity is reduced. We assume 3-phase as the standard.

How long is the build time? 10–14 weeks from order to on-site installation. A sauna module takes longer than a standard GymBox due to plumbing and electrical complexity.

Can I order a module without the sauna and add it later? Yes – this is an option we recommend for clients with a tighter starting budget. The key is to plan the electrical reserve and plumbing routes at the production stage.
