Your own studio — why stop renting?
Renting a slot at a gym for £20–35 per hour? At 20 sessions a week you’re handing the owner £1,000–£1,600 a month. That’s £12,000–£19,200 a year that isn’t building your assets.
Your own studio changes the rules. You pay once — and train clients on your terms, at any hour, without the constraints of someone else’s schedule and rules.
A calculation that makes sense
A conservative scenario:
| Parameter | Value |
|---|---|
| Regular clients | 8 |
| Average session rate | £40 |
| Sessions per week | 24 (3 per client × 8) |
| Monthly revenue | ~£3,800 |
| Studio cost (equipment) | ~£12,000 |
| Payback | ~3–4 months |
Even at half these numbers — the studio cost pays back in the first year.
What’s in a PT studio?
For a personal trainer, versatile equipment in a limited space is key. Our PT studio builds typically include:
➜ Multi-function rack or functional cable system ➜ Free weights — bars, dumbbells, kettlebells ➜ Adjustable bench + rack ➜ Cardio platform (treadmill or bike) ➜ Professional sports flooring ➜ Mirrors on one or two walls ➜ RGB or adjustable lighting ➜ Audio system
20 m² comfortably fits a full-spec PT studio. 30 m² — you’ll handle 2 clients at once.
What our deliveries look like
We’ve built PT studios in:
- Rented commercial premises (basements, lower-ground, retail units)
- Garden containers on the trainer’s own property
- Garages and converted rooms
- Dedicated free-standing buildings
We adapt the design to available space and budget.
From idea to opening — 4–6 weeks
- Day 1–3 — free consultation, measurements or plan of the premises
- Day 4–10 — 3D design, equipment list, quote
- Day 11–30 — equipment sourcing, space preparation
- Day 31–42 — installation, finishing, handover
After 6 weeks — your first sessions with clients in your own studio.
